  • Louvre Grating

    Louvre gratings will always find a use wherever people don’t want other people to peer through — on bridges, gangways, elevated walkways, ventilation grilles, balconies with sun shield function and building exteriors.

    Meiser produces louvre gratings from steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Here the cross bars are inserted into the bearing bars at an angle of 30° or 45° before being welded.

    If requested, we can process other materials. Other mesh spacings and material dimensions also customisable … just give us a call! Louvre grating can be produced to a height of 100 mm.

  • Molded Grating
    Molded Grating

    MinGrate® molded fiberglass grating is a one-piece, reinforced  FRP grating, available in various meshes and manufactured by interweaving continuous, thoroughly wetted, fiberglass strand with thermosetting resin systems. Standard panels are available in four resin systems, Isophthalic Polyester (I), Vinyl Ester (V), Orthophthalic (O), Phenolic (P).

    MinGrate® molded grating is widely used for floor systems, walkways, work platforms, stairs, ramps, trench covers & catwalks and has been successfully used in many industries – including food processing, beverage, chemical processing, water & wastewater treatment, metal finishing, pulp/paper, transportation, pharmaceutical, textile, oil / gas & mining / smelting, refining.

     

    Features and Advantages
    CORROSION RESISTANCE For highly aggressive environments, MinGrate vinyl-ester resin system (VEFR) is recommended.  Unlike metal grating, it does not rust and never needs painting. Combined with superior corrosion resistance, mean that MinGrate is a long-lasting, maintenance-free product.
    SAFETY The top surface of MinGrate Molded Grating is meniscus (concave) to provide outstanding skid resistant, with optional grit top surface to have betterment in anti-skid, especially for wet environment.
    FIRE RETARDANCY MinGrate Molded Grating is available in eight standard resin systems, in which six of them meet the Class 1 flame spread rating of 25 or less, per ASTM E-84.
    LOW MAINTENANCE Never rusts – never needs painting. And it’s very easy to clean
    EASE OF FABRICATION  It is easy to cut  with ordinary hand tools, using a masonry, carbide tip blade or diamond edge. (it is similar to working with wood or plastic.)
  • Non Stain Process
    Non stain processing (NSP) is a coating applied to the surface of stainless steel to prevent stains caused by fingerprints, dusts, etc.
    In the course of the painting of stain resistant coating and heat hardening, NSP prevents the adhesion of extraneous substances and maintains the surface beauty and semi-permanence through only simple cleaning. NSP also functions improvement of corrosion resistance and the duration of surface finishes.  Most finishes, such as Titanium coating, Inco Color, vibration, bead blast, Satin, Hairline, etc. are applicable.

  • Offshore-gratings
    Offshore-gratings (O-SP-SS)
    As its name suggests, offshore grating was originally developed for use on offshore oil rigs. 

    Basically a press welded grating, it is strengthened by round bars welded beneath the twisted cross bars and in the same direction as the bearing bars. See the photo to the Left. 

    Mesh spacing:
    30 x 19mm with a round bar welded beneath so that a test ball 15 mm in diameter cannot fall through. 

    Bearing bar measurement:
    20 x 3mm up to 60 x 5mm  

  • Perforated Metal

    Perforated metal has many applications, including decoration, signage, ceiling, screening, ventilation, protection, etc. We offers a wide selection of patterns, shapes, materials in different finishes.

  • Press Locked Grating

    MeiseGrate press locked gratings are usually made of steel, stainless steel or aluminum. However, other materials can be used if the customer so wishes.

    On the computer controlled production lines, the bearing bars are notched and, at the same time, locked with the non-attenuated cross bar and weld both together afterwards

    This particular production method guarantees a uniform precision mesh size. The edge of the press locked gratings is banded either with T-shaped special section or flat bar. This process i.e. where the banding is welded at right angles to and flush with the grating surface is effected on an automatic bordering machine via resistance welding.

    Although production method does not set any limits here, in practice the length will be predetermined by statical requirements and unit weights.

    End meshing
    End meshes opposite one another are the same size. Customised solutions also possible on request.

    Bearing bars
    In parallel with one another from one rest to the next, the bearing bars are the load carrying flat bars set out perpendicularly.

    Cross bars
    At right angles to the bearing bars, the cross bars connect the bearing bars with one another in that they are pressed and/or welded at the intersection points

  • Press Welded Grating

    Press welded gratings are produced from steel. The bearing bars (I-Bar or Flat Bar) and the twisted square cross bars are cut to grating size before the cross bars are locked into the bearing bars at a pressure of 1000 kN and – simultaneously – electrically welded at 2500 KVA. Into one unit.

    In combination with welded cross bars, non-attenuated bearing bars make for high torsion rigidity.

    Press welded gratings are banded with flat bars which, as a rule, will have the same cross section as the bearing bars.

    One special form of press welded grating is offshore grating (O-SP-SS), details of which you will find on special forms of gratings. Due to the way the bearing bars are profiled, press welded gratings have a much enhanced anti-skid capability. Please see (anti-skid gratings).

     

  • Pultruded Grating

    MinGrate® Pultruded Grating are in three types – T-Sections, I-Sections & HD Series available are resin systems Isophthalic Polyester (I), Vinyl Ester (V), Orthophthalic (O), Phenolic (P).

    T-sections provide maximum surface area underfoot thus the most comfortable walking surface to prevent catching high heels and an excellent surface for two wheel moving equipment. These designs are excellent for areas with high traffic and light hand trucks or wheeled carts.

    I-Sections are provided for applications where a close match to a steel or aluminum profile or to an existing installation is needed I–Section with bonded rod crossbars (without locking assembly) are suitable for use in low pedestrian traffic areas.

    Heavy Duty (HD) solid bar grating is designed to take heavy wheel traffic such as forklifts, tow motors and truck traffic.

  • Titanium Coating - PVD Stainless Steel

    Titanium Coating – the process of PVD, or Physical Vapor Deposition of titanium (Ti), onto the stainless steel surface provides an abrasion resistant coating which is up to 100 times that of normal stainless steel substrate. Titanium Nitride (TiN) coatings have been utilized in the tooling industry to extend the life of drill bits, to reduce friction and to enhance resistance to the effects of corrosion.

    Combining the best of both worlds – the rich colors and beauty of gold, brass, brown and copper, with the corrosion resistant properties of stainless steel, into an everlasting low maintenance product, polished stainless steel is no longer confined to the silvery brushed satin, or mirrored chrome look.

    Titanium colored stainless steel does not require a lacquer coating to maintain it’s color and it is UV and corrosion resistant. It will not dull or tarnish.

  • Tread Cover
    Tread MinCover®  are fabricated by multiple layers of fibreglass reinforcement with specially formulated resins resulting in a solid composite panel with a carbon and the unique special hard wearing grit, embedded in to the 4mm thick fibreglass substrate, provides an excellent slip resistant surface. The grit particles form pinnacles which minimize the surface contact of the foot in order to increase the slip resistance intensively. Contrarily, traditional standard steel checker-plate steps have much larger foot contact points which greatly increase the possibility of slips.

    MinTread Landing Cover simply fit over your existing substrate to instantly improve stair safety with strong slip resistance. The Nosing is in contrasting color to the rest of the tread that make the step edge to be easily identified when ascending and descending.

    The ultra-grating is a welded and press locked grating. First the cross bars are bonded with the bearing bars and then welded together as well. This technology provides extra stability even without edge banding.

    Meiser produces ultra-grating in standard panels for machine shops and fitter’s shops for further processing.

  • Cement Board for external wall

    Viva Cement Board

    Viva Board is Cement Bonded Particle Board or Wood Cement Board which provides to demand for multipurpose, durable, weather resistant, easy to use, asbestos-free, and economical building boards. It was originate in Europe in the early 70’s to replace wood and wood-derived products in many construction applications.

    Viva Wood Cement Board is produced by mixing fine wood particle, Portland cement and mineralizing agents. The mixed material is laid on carrier plates using a unique laying process. The carrier plates with the formed board mat are stacked and compressed using very high pressure to convert the formed mat into boards of required thickness.

    Combining the Best Properties of Wood and Cement

    Fire Resistance: Vivo Board passed BS 476 Part 6 and 7. It is classified as Class “0” material and the 1 hour and 2 hours fire rating test according to BS 476 Part 22.

    Weather Resistance: Viva Board is weather resistant because the wood particles are mineralized. Thus, it does not degenerate from the effects of moisture, rain, sun, or heat

    Heat Insulation: Viva Board has an excellent insulation property due to its wood content. Its K value is less than 0.125 W/m”c. It is energy efficient for both heated and air-conditioned area.

    Sound Insulation: With its density of 1100-1300 Kg/m3, Viva Board is an excellent sound insulating material.

    Safe from Termite Attack and Fungus: Termite does not attack Viva Board because the wood particles are immersed in cement. Fungi cultures do not develop on Viva Board because of its alkaline nature (pH Value = 12).

    Easy Workability: Working with Viva Board is easy. Most conventional wood-working tools and procedures can be applied. Dry process installation is quick and clean.

    Eco-Friendly: Viva Board is an excellent substitute for natural wood. It provides exceptional durability, prolonging life of construction. Using it also encourages reforestation program.

    No Hazardous Content: Viva Board is asbestos free. It contains no health hazardous contents such as urea formaldehyde found in other board materials.

    Economical: Viva Board is not only resonably priced but also light in weight and easy to work with. It will also help to reduce both foundation and labor cost.

  • With Perforated Sheet
    A special form of press-welded gratings are in 6000 x 1000 mm mats, with a perforated sheet welded between the bearing bars. The 1,2 mm thick perforated sheet has 8×8 mm square openings spaced at 4 mm intervals and is manufactured with a profiled edge for resistance welding.
